Lena Kitzing member new EU Scientific Advisory Board on Climate Change

Head of Section, Lena Kitzing has been selected as a member of the new European Scientific Advisory Board on Climate Change. The 15 members of the Advisory Board will provide independent scientific advice on EU measures and climate targets and their coherence with EU Presiden tUrsula von der Leyen'sproposal for a new European Climate Law. European Climate Law as well as the EU’s international commitments under the Paris Agreement.

Head of Department, Peter Hauge Madsen says:

“We need a concerted European effort to accelerate the green energy transition to fight climate change. Lena has a strong scientific track record in energy economics and policy and a firm understanding of how to translate science into policy”.
